Me & my spade

  1. What a handsome pair! Are those Alexanders next to you? They're looking tall, must be spring!

  2. Thanks, Hollie. Yes, spring it is and I'm scrambling to cope! There are trays of seeds in the tkunnelhouse, making ready to bust forth. I put this image up, not for the sake of self-aggrandisement, but to illustrate a point on some obscure blog... Get Growing this week features our trip to Kaitangata and the planting of our 11th community heritage orchard there; it was great fun. It's dry here, btw, and will probably get drier! Forks sounded...as expected; grey, depressing and not at all sparkly :-)
